Undo a run

Take back an index run, a survey, a topics run or a draft.

Everything Topic Map writes is shown as a dry run first, and logged before it is written. That log is what makes a run undoable.

Steps#

  1. Run Topic Map: Setup: Undo a run…, or select Undo a run… on the Collections tab under Recent activity.
  2. Pick the run.

What comes back#

  • The files the run wrote.
  • The notes it made, changed or removed, unless you changed them since.
  • The Graph view color groups it set.

What to know#

  • Runs are undone newest first, separately per kind: index runs and a survey's passages in one order; drafts, topics runs and a survey's Write each in their own. Undoing an index run never takes a draft with it.
  • The last five runs of each kind on an index keep what undo needs. Older runs can't be undone.
  • A correction to a group (Not the same, Join with…) is a run too, and Undo takes it back. A correction made before an index run can be undone only after that index run is.
  • Undo does not refund what a run cost.
