Beta. Model Hub is not released yet. These pages describe the build in progress.
Use the note chat
Ask about the open note or a selection, research a question on the web, and put the answer into your note.
Open it
Select the Open note chat icon in the left ribbon, or run Model Hub: Open note chat. The panel follows the note you have open.
Ask about a note
- Open the note. To ask about one part, select that text first.
- In the panel, keep Ask the note selected.
- Type your question and select Send. Select Stop to end a reply early.
The chip under the header shows what is sent with your question: the note's name, or Selection with its length. With a selection, the whole note is sent too, for reference. Select the x on the chip to leave the note out.
Research on the web
- Select Web research.
- Ask a question. The reply lists its Sources, each a link.
Web research runs on the Research tier, and needs a model that can search the web.
Choose the model
The button under the header shows the tier in use: Balanced tier (change) or Research tier (change). Select it to pick another tier, or any single model, for this conversation. Limits still apply.
Use a skill
A skill is a set of instructions added to the request, such as how to write a Base. Suggested skills show as chips with a +; select one to add it. The + skill dropdown lists the rest. See Add your own skills.
Use the answer
Under each reply:
- Insert at cursor puts the text into the open note. Undo works.
- Replace selection shows when you asked about a selection.
- Copy copies the reply.
- Save as .base or Save as .canvas shows when the reply holds a Base or a Canvas, and saves it as a new file.
Each reply also shows the model that answered and what it cost. If a fallback answered, or a skill was left out for size, it says so. The foot of the panel shows the total for this chat.
Start over
Select the New chat button in the header.
