Roadmap across the pluginsThe plugins grow into each other. One lane per plugin, its releases in order; an arrow runs from a release to a later release in another plugin, and says what you can do once both are out. Each release opens its section of that plugin's roadmap.

The step that opens Obsidian up is Model Hub 1.0. Add the Hub to Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Codex once, and from then on whatever you can do in a plugin on the Hub, you can ask your agent to do from outside: read and search your notes, build and merge shelves, ask your collections. The same limits, the same ledger, the same undo. Each plugin's roadmap names the release its tools arrive in: Books & Shelves 0.5 and Clusters 0.3.
What each arrow gives you
- Model Hub 0.1 Books & Shelves 0.1 set up a provider and its key once, in the Hub; shelf suggestions and summaries use it and show in the one ledger
- Model Hub 0.1 Clusters 0.1 the same provider and key index your collections, counted in the same ledger
- Books & Shelves 0.1 Clusters 0.1 any shelf becomes a collection you can search and ask about
- Model Hub 0.2 Books & Shelves 0.2 install both from the community directory, the Hub first
- Model Hub 0.2 Clusters 0.2 the skills you keep in the Hub are the ones Clusters uses, with no second setup
- Model Hub 0.4 Books & Shelves 0.4 for plugin developers, your shelves can be made and changed from their plugins too
- Model Hub 1.0 Books & Shelves 0.5 ask for a shelf in plain words, in the Hub's panel or from Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Codex: make it, add to it, merge two, undo
- Model Hub 1.0 Clusters 0.3 ask your collections a question from the Hub's panel or from Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Codex, and get passages back with where each comes from
- Books & Shelves 0.5 Model Hub 2.0 a workflow in the Hub can build a shelf, then summarise what is on it, in one run you steer
- Clusters 0.3 Model Hub 2.0 the Hub's panel answers from your collections on its own, choosing when to look
The lanes are read from each plugin's ROADMAP.md; the order and the arrows from roadmap.yaml in the site's repo. Updated 2026-10-05. As data: roadmap.json.
